Protect yourself from crypto scams

No legitimate support service, platform representative, or help directory will ever ask you for the following. If anyone does — it is a scam.

Passwords or PIN codes
Never share your account password, login PIN, or any access credential with anyone — including people claiming to be support agents.
One-Time Passwords (OTPs)
Your OTP / 2FA codes are for your use only. Legitimate platforms will never ask you to share these codes over chat, phone, or email.
Wallet Seed Phrases
Your 12 or 24-word seed phrase gives complete access to your wallet. Anyone who has it owns your funds. Store it offline, never digitally.
Private Keys
Private keys are the cryptographic equivalent of your wallet. Never paste, photograph, type, or share them in any form under any circumstances.
Recovery Phrases
Similar to seed phrases, recovery phrases unlock wallets or accounts. No genuine support agent will ever need this from you for any reason.
Remote Screen Access
Do not install remote access software (AnyDesk, TeamViewer) at the request of anyone claiming to offer crypto help or account recovery.
